Azerbaijan is a transcontinental country located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, situated in the Caucasus region. Bordered by the Caspian Sea, Russia, Georgia, Armenia, and Iran, it is known as the "Land of Fire" due to its rich, ancient natural gas and oil reserves.
